American Poets

The nation’s largest member-supported organization promoting poets and poetry.

Americas Society

The premier forum dedicated to education, debate, and dialogue in the Americas. The Visual Arts program boasts the longest-standing space in the United States dedicated to exhibiting and promoting art from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada.

Asia Society & Museum

The Asia Society Museum produces groundbreaking exhibitions of traditional and contemporary Asian and Asian-American art.

Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM)

A multi-arts center located in Brooklyn, New York. With world-renowned programming in theater, dance, music, opera, film, and much more, BAM showcases the work of emerging artists and innovative modern masters.

Carnegie Hall

Carnegie Hall’s mission is to present extraordinary music and musicians on the three stages of this legendary hall, to bring the transformative power of music to the widest possible audience, to provide visionary education programs, and to foster the future of music through the cultivation of new works, artists and audiences.

Dia:

Dia Art Foundation is committed to advancing, realizing, and preserving the vision of artists by commissioning single artist projects, organizing exhibitions, realizing site-specific installations, and collecting in-depth the work of a focused group of artists of the 1960s and 1970s.

The Frick Collection

The museum that’s a masterpiece. Your home for art from the Renaissance to the early twentieth century. Reopens late 2024 – visit frick.org/explore

Gibney Dance

Through three interrelated fields of action—Center, Company, and Community Action—Gibney Dance is “Making Space for Dance” in studios, on stages, and in underserved shelters and schools.

Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum

Committed to innovation, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation collects, preserves, and interprets modern and contemporary art, and explores ideas across cultures through dynamic curatorial and educational initiatives and collaborations. 


The Joyce Theater

One of the only theaters built by dancers for dance, The Joyce Theater has garnered a well-deserved international reputation for cultivating and honoring emerging and established dance artists whose work represents a wide range of aesthetic interests.

Kaufman Music Center

New York City Center

New York Public Library for the Performing Arts

The Library for the Performing Arts is dedicated to enhancing access to its rich archives of dance, theatre, music, and recorded sound—to amplify all voices and support the creative process. As one of The New York Public Library’s renowned research centers—and one of the world’s largest collections solely focused on the performing arts—the Library’s mission is to amplify all voices and all of our holdings. The collection at the Library for the Performing Arts includes upwards of 8 million items, notable for their extraordinary range and diversity—from 11th-century music, to 20th-century manuscripts to contemporary hip-hop dance.


Playwrights Horizons

A writer’s theater dedicated to the support and development of contemporary American playwrights, composers and lyricists, and to the production of their new work.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater

Our mission is to produce ambitious plays to inspire empathy and provoke conversation that will lead to positive social change.

Society of Illustrators

The Society of Illustrators’ mission is to promote the art of illustration, to appreciate its history and evolving nature through exhibitions, lectures and education, and to contribute the service of its members to the welfare of the community at large. The Society of Illustrators is also home to the Museum of Cartoon Art.

Socrates Sculpture Park

A community engaged New York City waterfront park dedicated to supporting artists in the production and presentation of public art.

Symphony Space

A multi-disciplinary performing arts center where bold programming, presented in a uniquely warm and welcoming environment, forges indelible relationships between artists and audiences.

TDF

TDF’s twofold mission is to identify and provide support, including financial assistance, to theatrical works of artistic merit and to encourage and enable diverse audiences to attend live theatre and dance in all their venues.
