Asia Society / Asia Society Museum

Students, faculty and staff of Hunter College need only walk a block north of campus to visit the Asia Society Museum. The Museum is known for both its traditional Asian works and for its cutting-edge contemporary art collection by Asian and Asian American artists. Asia Society is the leading educational organization dedicated to promoting mutual understanding and strengthening partnerships among peoples, leaders and institutions of Asia and the United States in a global context. Across the fields of arts, business, culture, education, and policy, the Society provides insight, generates ideas, and promotes collaboration to address present challenges and create a shared future.

Anyone with a valid Hunter ID gets free admission to exhibits, select events and resources. The Asia Society also allows Hunter faculty to integrate events and materials into their coursework and become Non-Resident Fellows of the organization.

Hunter students occasionally receive free admission to special arts and culture programming at The Asia Society including film screenings, music, theater and dance performances. Sign up for our mailing list to be notified of free ticket offers.
