Hunter College students, staff, and faculty are invited to the dazzling new exhibition Luigi Valadier: Splendor in 18th Century Rome opening at The Frick Collection on Wed. Oct 31. 

This is the first monographic exhibition devoted to Luigi Valadier (1726-1785), a prominent silversmith whose works were admired by popes, nobles, and aristocrats throughout Europe. This exhibition presents more than 50 objects, many of which have been assembled and shown for the first time in the United States, as well as drawings that represent the breadth of Valadier’s career.
