Paley Center for Media

The Paley Center for Media invites media-focused undergraduate and graduate students to apply to their Internship Program. Paley Interns will have the opportunity to participate in a structured and rewarding program designed to provide practical work experience and a unique insight into the worlds of network, cable, international broadcasting, and museum operations.

The Development Intern will assist the Development department in all facets of administrative support in institutional fundraising and special projects as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

▸ Conduct research and outreach to prospective foundations, government agencies, and corporations
▸ Assist with institutional fundraising mailings
▸ Maintain pipeline for upcoming events including gala, fundraisers, and public programs
▸ Attend Paley Center programs (as requested)
▸ Assist with relationship management in Raiser’s Edge
▸ Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

▸ Interest in Development and Fundraising
▸ Background or strong interest in Media (TV, Radio, Entertainment)
▸ Excellent research skills
▸ Proficient use of Microsoft Suite (especially MS Word and Excel)
▸ Professional demeanor and ability to handle multiple projects
▸ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
▸ Eligible for College credit
