Gallery Attendants- Hunter College Art Galleries Job Posting

The Hunter College Art Galleries are seeking students and recent alums who are interested in the visual arts, exhibition making, and interacting with the public to come work at the Leubsdorf Gallery located in the lobby of the West Building at 68th Street and Lexington Avenue. Gallery Attendants are responsible for opening and closing the gallery, overseeing the exhibition at the gallery desk, greeting visitors, and some light administrative and maintenance work.

Salary is $17/hr. and gallery attendants are paid as independent contractors.  Shifts run from 10:30am–5:30pm and are available Tuesday–Saturday. Ideally gallery attendants will work a minimum of two days a week.

The Fall 2021 schedule includes shifts from August 24–October 9, 2021 for the Constance DeJong exhibition and from November 3–December 18, 2021 for the exhibition Life as Activity: David Lamelas.
