Director, Muse Scholar Program
Director, Mellon Arts Fellowship
Dara Meyers-Kingsley is the Director of the Office of the Arts, the Muse Scholar Program, an honors program for high achieving students with talents in the arts, and the Mellon Arts Fellowship. Ms. Meyers-Kingsley also serves as the liaison for the college’s partnerships with arts and cultural institutions throughout NYC.
Ms. Meyers-Kingsley has extensive experience as a contemporary art curator with an interdisciplinary curatorial practice. Her exhibitions, often including visual art, media, installation, and performance have been presented at LA MOCA, MCA Chicago, The New Museum, The Andy Warhol Museum, Miami MOCA, the Brooklyn Museum and the Mattress Factory. Previously, she was Director of the Film and Video Collections for the Andy Warhol Foundation and curator of Film and Video at the Brooklyn Museum. Ms. Meyers-Kingsley has lectured on media art history in the United States and abroad and is the author of museum catalogues and articles on Adrian Piper, Andy Warhol, 1970s video art, public art and contemporary media.
As an educator she has taught aspiring artists in Parsons’ MFA Studio Art Program, undergraduates in Hunter’s Macaulay Honors College and, since 2011, the first year Muse Scholars.

Arts Management and Leadership Certificate Coordinator
Esther Ko is the Assistant Director of Student Arts Engagement in the Office of the Arts where she coordinates communications within the arts community at Hunter College, builds Cultural Partnerships with NYC arts organizations, and manages the Arts Ambassadors Program.
She is also the coordinator for the Arts Management and Leadership Certificate, a 15-credit certificate program designed to train Hunter undergraduates to become our future arts leaders.
In her other life, she is a writer, photographer, and theatre artist who received her BA in English, Creative Writing at Hunter College.

Erica Galluscio, Communications Assistant
Erica is a graduate from Hunter College ’19 who studied Linguistics, Gender Studies, and Art History. Above all things she loves cats, black coffee, and carefully curating her Instagram account. She is a lover of all art forms and hopes to return to school one day to pursue a Masters degree in… Museum Administration? Art History? Nonprofit Management? Who knows!

Christina Thomas, Work Study Office of the Arts Assistant
Christina is a graduate student at Hunter Silberman studying to get her MSW in social work. She is the current work study assistant at the Office of the Arts.
Who has time for self-care when you’re juggling an internship, work-study, and 2 jobs? Well, Christina takes time out to read, watch tv/YouTube, listen to music, and of course sleep.

Josh Kinney, Work Study Office of the Arts Assistant
Josh Kinney is a graduate student at Hunter College studying Music Education. He is currently working as an Assistant in the Office of the Arts where he curates performing arts events.
Outside of school, he is a professional musician that runs a hip hop jazz project called Jerk and produces music for commercials, television, and film.
