Camera Assistant Internship
Catscape Productions is a collective incubator for women in film, television and content creator roles focused on producing high-quality content that is responsible, entertaining, and socially charged to create a dedicated pipeline for women producers, filmmakers, showrunners and directors. We pride ourselves on tailoring expert solutions to meet our client’s needs through storytelling and video production.
Catscape Productions is looking for a camera assistant intern to work with Camera Operator during shoots at in-house green screen studio and beyond. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to attend various shoots throughout the semester. Must be knowledgeable of lighting, operating HD cameras and editing with Adobe Premiere. The ideal candidate loves to shoot and edit what they shoot!
Throughout this internship, you will gain experience filming in a variety of shooting environments. This internship is unpaid and for college credit only.
Responsibilities:
– Studio maintenance
– Loading-in and out of locations and sets
– Set lighting
– Operating studio cameras
– Loading footage
Requirements:
– Must live in New York City area
– Must provide links to video examples of shooting and editing
– Ideal candidates are pursuing film or journalism degree, but other creative disciplines are welcome
– The ideal candidate is patient, professional and takes direction on set
Video Editor/Motion Graphics Internship
Catscape Productions is a collective incubator for women in film, television and content creator roles focused on producing high-quality content that is responsible, entertaining, and socially charged to create a dedicated pipeline for women producers, filmmakers, showrunners and directors. We pride ourselves on tailoring expert solutions to meet our client’s needs through storytelling and video production.
Catscape Productions is looking for a video editor and motion graphics intern to work with in-house production and post-production team.
This is a part-time position with the opportunity to edit and create graphics for TV shows and virtual events. Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere and After Effects. The ideal candidate is a natural visual storyteller that utilizes b-roll and archival photos to enhance recorded content.
Throughout this internship, you will learn post-production workflow and efficient editing practices. This internship is unpaid and for college credit only.
Responsibilities:
– Editing together rough cuts for senior editors
– Editing of social media clips to be shared across platforms
– Work closely with creative director to create motion graphics
Requirements:
– Must live in New York City area
– Must provide links to video examples of editing and motion graphics
– Ideal candidates are pursuing film or journalism degree, but other creative disciplines are welcome

Social Media Internship
Catscape Productions is a collective incubator for women in film, television and content creator roles focused on producing high-quality content that is responsible, entertaining, and socially charged to create a dedicated pipeline for women producers, filmmakers, showrunners and directors. We pride ourselves on tailoring expert solutions to meet our client’s needs through storytelling and video production.
Catscape Productions is looking for a social media intern to post creative content across multiple pages and platforms. Throughout this internship, you will work with creative team to brainstorm digital campaign ideas. Must be knowledgeable of Instagram algorithm, relevant hashtags and engaging with fans.
Responsibilities:
– Help develop content
– Monitor social media conversations
– Staying up to date on trending topics among influencers
– Write captions/copy for social media
– Content creation & behind-the-scenes photography
Requirements:
– Proactive and organized
– Willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills
– Flexibility to work well with a small team in a creative environment
– Strong writing & analytical skills
– Social media savvy & willingness to learn WordPress
