New York International Children’s Film Festival
The New York International Children’s Film Festival (NYICFF) is a year-round nonprofit arts organization dedicated to building a dynamic film culture for families and classrooms. It offers year-round engagement, including school field trips, premieres and sneak preview screenings, a national program reaching cities nationwide, and more.
The NYICFF annual Festival consists of four weekends in the months of February and March. The Festival invites over 25,000 parents, children, and filmmakers to experience the best new films from around the world at venues throughout NYC.
Internships at NYICFF run from September through December, with the possibility to continue through May. Applicants able to commit to working September to May receive preference, but all applications will be considered. Internships at NYICFF are available in Programming, Non-profit Management, Operations/Marketing, and Education. To read more about the responsibilities of each department and to apply, click here.
Applicants must be responsible, intelligent, have excellent communication skills and have a strong interest in film and/or non-profit management. Experience working with children preferred. Internship is unpaid, but may be applied towards school credit if arranged with school.
