Activating the Urban Campus

About the exhibition

Each year, the Office of the Arts exhibits works of art by Hunter College students throughout the 68th Street campus. This project provides a unique opportunity for artistically talented students working in a variety of media to showcase their work in surprising and unexpected places throughout the campus. From paintings, photographs, prints, murals, drawings, artist books, ceramics and digital media, the works on display enliven the campus, adding a new aesthetic dimension to the daily experience of Hunter students, staff and faculty.

The Spring 2020 Activating the Urban Campus Exhibition and the Hunter Arts Celebration have been postponed.

The Office of the Arts will continue to accept applications for the Activating the Urban Campus exhibition for installation in the 2020-21 academic year.

(Murals, paintings, photographs, prints, video, etc.)

(Small sculptures, ceramics, multimedia projects, artist books, etc.)
